England Look to Level Series Against Sri Lanka

Colombo: England are back in the seven-ODI series against Sri Lanka following their thumping win in the third game played on Wednesday, and they look to carry the momentum into the next encounter at Colombo's R Premadasa Stadium on Sunday.

After the 5-0 rout at the hands of India recently, Angelo Mathews' men got back their confidence beating the English team easily in the first two games but Moeen Ali and Jos Buttler's sparkling fifties helped their team pull one back as it chased down 236 in 33.4 overs in a rain-affected game earlier this week.

With the rust, as a result of almost three months' rest, now off England's limbs, the series from here promises to be a cracker.

The tourists are unlikely to disturb the winning combination but the bowlers need to improve their performance a bit. So far they have failed to curb the Sri Lankan batsmen. They also force to change after regular captain Alastiar Cook face one match ban.

The hosts don't need to tamper with their eleven on the basis of just one defeat. Despite the defeat in the last game, the Lankans are still the favourites to take the series.
