Dubai: Pakistan look to bag the T20I series when they play New Zealand in the second and final game at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday.
After the disappointment of the 1-1 Test draw, Pakistan did just to get back their confidence, beating Kane Williamson's side by seven wickets with five balls to go in the first game of the series on Thursday night, largely because of opener Sarfraz Ahmed's 76 not out.
While Pakistan aim for a clean sweep, New Zealand would hope to win the day-nighter to draw the series, just like they did in the Test series, before the all-important five-ODI series gets underway on December 8 having the upcoming World Cup in mind.
Pakistan are unlikely to change the team. They would love to have newcomers like Awais Zia, Haris Sohail, Saad Nasim, Anwar Ali and Hasan Raza gain more and more experience.
Defeat in one match is no basis for making changes, so New Zealand are likely to go into the match unchanged. However, the top order needs to get its act together.
