Sydney: Both teams outplayed each other in Adelaide and Melbourne and a series win is up for grabs in Sydney.
After South Africa put in a clinical show in the first match in Adelaide, Australia roared back with a demolition job in the second at Melbourne. With the series tied 1-1, both teams will be aiming to deliver the knockout blow in Sydney and carry momentum ahead of the ODIs which begin on November 14.
Australia's bowling stood out at the MCG. The likes of Pat Cummins, Doug Bollinger and James Faulkner chipped in with wickets.
Australia will also be pleased with the way Cameron Boyce bowled. He gave his legbreaks a bit more rip and bowled with flight and loop to win the Man of the Match award for his figures of 4-0-15-2. Skipper Aaron Finch will be hoping that the batsmen contribute a big score.
Barring JP Duminy and Wayne Parnell, the rest of the South African players failed to contribute at the MCG. Kagiso Rabada bowled with pace but lacked accuracy and he might be replaced by Marchant de Lange for the decider.
