Chennai: Middle-order batsman Manoj Tiwary will captain India A for two practice one-day games against the West Indies to be played in Mumbai.
The first practice game will be held at the Brabourne Stadium Oct 3 and the second at Wankhede Staidum Oct 5, BCCI secretary Sanjay Patel said on Monday.
BCCI's All-India Senior Selection Committee included youngsters Unmukt Chand and Sanju Samson in the squad while pacer Dhawal Kulkarni, who played just one one-day match in England, would look to stake a claim in the senior side.
The games will serve as a build-up for the five-match ODI series to be played from Oct 8.
India 'A' squad: Manoj Tiwary (Captain), Unmukt Chand, Murali Vijay, Karun Nair, Kedar Jadhav, Sanju Samson (wk), Stuart Binny, Parvez Rasool, Amit Mishra, Jasprit Bumrah, Dhawal Kulkarni, Rahul Shukla, Karn Sharma and Gurkeerat Singh.
