Gambhir, Ashwin Return as India Bat

Manchester: India have won the toss and opted to bat in fourth Investec Test against England at Old Trafford, Manchester on Thursday.

Three changes for India, with Gautam Gambhir, Ravichandran Ashwin and Varun Aaron coming in for Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Mohammed Shami.

England are unchanged. Cook says he would have batted too, though he can cling to the grey clouds overhead as something to encourage the bowlers.
