Bridgetown: The West Indies on Tuesday named a 13-man squad for the first of five Tests against New Zealand at Sabina Park in Jamaica starting on June 8 with spinner Suliemann Benn and fast bowler Jerome Taylor making comebakcks ater lenghty lay-offs.
All-rounder Dwayne Bravo was not included in sqaud as he has gone back to Trinidad for rehabilitation due to injury he sustained in the recently concluded Indian Premier League.
Kemar Roach also makes a comeback after a shoulder injury had forced the fast bowler to missed two series in India and New Zealand. Barbadian Kraigg Brathwaite also found a place in the squad as a cover for opener Chris Gayle, who is not fully fit, yet has been included in the team.
The side will be captained by wicketkeeper batsman Denesh Ramdin, who took over theregins from Darren Sammy last month.
