Chandigarh: Rajasthan Royals have won the toss and decided to have a field against table-toppers Kings XI Punjab at Mohali.
RR have made four changes to the team that lost to Mumbai Indians earlier this week. Ajinkya Rahane, Rahul Tewatia, Vikramjeet Singh Malik and Pravin Tambe come in the places of Unmukt Chand, Ankit Sharma, Dhawal Kulkarni and Rajat Bhatia. KXIP, on the other hand, made three changes to the team, bringing in Laxmipathi Balaji, David Miller and Karanveer Singh.
RR need to win today in order to cement their place in the knockouts. With 14 points in their bag and a net run-rate of 0.33, RR are not assured of their qualification to the play-offs.
KXIP have already qualified for the play-offs despite their loss to Mumbai Indians. They will be looking to win their game against RR to keep their hopes of stay on top of the table.
