Dhaka - A terrific start by Chris Gayle and brilliant cameos by Dwayne Bravo and Darren Sammy in death overs steered West Indies to a thrilling six-wicket win over Australia in the World T20 Super 10 match on Friday.
With 12 required of the final over, Sammy missed the first first two deliveries of Faulkner but slammed the next two balls for sixes to handle Australia their second successive defeat.
Bravo scored 27 while Sammy stayed unbeaten on 34 off 13 balls.
Gayle got West Indies off to a flying start as they had first 50 runs in just 26 balls. He scored 53 off 35 balls that kept West Indies in hunt.
