England Bat in Opener, Root Debuts

Rajkot: England have won the toss and elected to bat first in first ODI against India at Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot on Friday.

Joe Root debut for England and he will come into the side at No. 4.

India, meanwhile, have made just one change to the team that beat Pakistan last week, bringing in Ashok Dinda for Shami Ahmed.
