Kolkata: India have won the toss and elected to bat against England in third Test match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata on Wednesday.
Dhoni feels the grass on the pitch will keep the pitch together, and will help quick bowlers in the first hour everyday. India have got Ishant Sharma in for Harbhajan Singh.
For England, Ian Bell and Steven Finn are back in the side, replacing Jonny Bairstow and Stuart Broad.
India have a wonderful record at the Eden Gardens. They have not lost a Test here since 1999 when they lost to Pakistan in the Asian Test championship. Egged on by a crowd that approaches close to 60-70 thousands, India certainly hold the edge.
