Sialkot to Bat Against Auckland

Johannesburg: Sialkot Stallions captain Shoaib Malik won the toss elected to bat first against Auckland in Champions League Twenty20 qualifier at Johannesburg.

He said: "150-160 will be a good total, there is grass on the wicket and we have good pacers, and spinners as well. It is a great opportunity for us, we have been winning for the last seven years on the domestic circuit."

Malik also says something about it still being sunny, and that being one of the reasons for him to bat first.

Hopkins said: "We are happy to bowl first. We have had a good period of time acclimitizing to the conditions. We have Azhar Mahmood to play for us, it was difficult to leave out four players. Chris Martin sits out today."
